This week I went looking for a different mashup artist to spotlight, DJ Cummerbund and oneboredjeu shouldn’t be the only artists featured every week. This mashup was arranged by ThatHustle and Gingergreen and is a surprising combination of Panic at the Disco, Twenty-One Pilots and Imagine Dragons. Using the rock-steady beat from Imagine Dragon’s Thunder, these two artists placed the vocals of I Write Sins Not Tragedies and Stressed Out on top of it and it turns out that they work really well together. Not having listened to much Panic at the Disco I didn’t know what to expect from it, but it was a pleasant surprise to hear it mesh so well with Imagine Dragons typical beat-centric style of music. Thrown together with the ever-popular Stressed Out by Twenty-One Pilots and you have yourself one solid mashup that I feel everyone can enjoy. (I wonder if I could convince the band to play this one?)
