On Saturday night Fun DMC had an amazing show at Springfield, Illinois’ favorite neighborhood bar, The Blue Grouch. Being that Katey and Chad were enjoying a road trip to Georgia, the band called upon the skills of none other than The Mix’s, Liz Gall. This was not Liz’s first show with the band but it was her first public gig and her fellow band mates and fans absolutely turned up for this event. In spite of a brief rain shower, the Coors Light beer garden remained full of drinkers, dancers, and frivolity.

Other highlights of the weekend included:

• Albert and Take 10 playing at The Curve Inn on Thursday night.
• Talon being manly and taking an axe to a tree in his yard.
• Aaron mudding and painting a nursery.
• Robert participating in Murph on Memorial Day.
• Katey and Chad enjoying some well deserved time off.
• Oh, and some of us watched a bootlegged version of the original Star Wars Trilogy.

This Saturday you can find us at the Legacy Of Giving Music Festival on the Main Stage Saturday at 3:00 pm. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
