Mashup Monday: Beyonce’s Heil

After a long hiatus, Mashup Monday is back and what better way to bring it back than with a masterpiece from DJ Cummerbund. Last year, he created what is probably his best mashup to date between Beyoncé, Rammstein, and Metallica. I know what you are thinking, why on Earth would he mashup two of the greatest musical acts on the planet with Beyoncé? Because why not, this is the same madman who mashed Ozzy Osbourne and Earth, Wind, and Fire.
This mashup consists of the classic Crazy In Love by Beyoncé, Rammstein’s Weidmann’s Heil, and Metallica’s banger from the Black Album Sad But True. While Weidmann’s Heil is not Rammstein’s most popular song (you may have heard of Du Hast) it fits perfectly with Crazy In Love. And not only does it perfectly fit, Jay-Z’s face in the video for it pretty much hits the nail on the head. German industrial metal with the Queen B? Shouldn’t work but it is a straight jam. Sad But True is the perfect icing on this pop-metal cake with its awesome solo from Kirk Hammet.
