This week I am putting the spotlight back on DJ Cummerbund with a mashup that is a surprising combination of Rob Zombie’s Dragula, The B-52’s Love Shack, and Britney Spears’ Toxic. It’s an impressive talent to be able to take these completely different styles and turn them into a single song that is somehow able to stand on its own. DJ Cummerbund used Toxic as the instrumental base of the song with the lyrics providing accents throughout the song. On top of this he adds the lyrics of Dragula and Love Shack that once again surprises anyone who listens to it. Its mashups like these that can keep you on your toes with whats possible when combining music. Being someone who isn’t the best at creating mashups I will never not be surprised at what is possible when it comes to them, this one is a testament to that. Also, can’t forget the classic Macho Man addition to all of DJ Cummerbunds mashups.
