What got you started playing bass?

I was playing in a few projects that had revolving bass players. My guitar gear got stolen and I used the insurance money to buy a bass thinking I would just fill in til we found a permanent replacement and I’m still playing bass 25 yrs later.

What bass players inspire you?

Norwood fisher, flea,victor wooten,it’s a long list really!

What song has challenged you the most?

Mostly some of the original songs I did in lidlifter, I always seem to write basslines that are a bit out of my range then practice til I get them. In the cover band I would have to say I want you back by the Jackson five.

What’s your favorite song to play in your current band’s set?

I want you back lol or sign sealed delivered by Stevie wonder

What’s the most overplayed song?

Uptown funk

What’s the most memorable thing that happened to you at a gig?

Scott Lecocq fell off the front of the stage in Chicago

What’s your current rig?

I have an ampeg svt 4 with a swr4/10 and a swr18 but with the get down I go direct out of a boss gt10 pedal and wear in ears no amp or cabs. I play a fender American deluxe jazz 5 or a ibanez sr905.
